The SpayJax program which is funded by the City of Jacksonville (Florida), endorsed by the Jacksonville Veterinary Medical Society and administered by First Coast No More Homeless Pets, Inc. provides free sterilization for pets of low-income Duval county citizens.
Spay Nassau, a similar program targeted at the pets of low-income Nassau County (Florida) citizens is endorsed by the Nassau Veterinary Medical Society. This program is funded by private donations raised by local rescue groups and shelters.
